IT Administrator (m/f/d)

For over 40 years, we have been distributing precision tools and integrated solutions for the metalworking industry in Germany and other European countries. To secure and expand our success in the long term, we are looking for a

IT System Administrator (m/f/d)

for the IT department of MMC Hartmetall GmbH in Meerbusch as soon as possible.

• Administration, maintenance, and further development of the existing IT infrastructure (hardware and software), including servers, network devices, and cloud resources
• Setup, configuration, installation, and maintenance of server/client hardware and proper documentation
• Installation, administration, and maintenance of Microsoft 365 products
• Lifecycle management of user accounts, including onboarding and offboarding
• Implementation of security policies and procedures to ensure IT system integrity
• End-user support for all IT-related issues (hardware, software, and application errors)
• Collaboration with external service providers and partners
• Process optimization in compliance with MMC Group guidelines

• Education as a system administrator or an equivalent qualification and/or several years of professional experience in IT and the listed responsibilities
• Basic knowledge of network configuration (TCP/IP, VPN, firewall, etc.)
• Experience in supporting Windows Server operating systems using CLI or scripting
• Familiarity with MS Office, remote support tools, Active Directory, M365 admin center, and Intune is desirable
• Experience in designing LANs and creating network diagrams is an advantage
• Strong team and communication skills
• Fluent German and English skills
